The European Master for Industry in Microwave Electronics and Photonics (EMIMEP) gives students excellent skills in microwave engineering and photonic technologies. This Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) program lasts two years. Four top European universities collaborate to offer it:
- University of Limoges (UNILIM), France
- University of Brescia (UNIBS), Italy
- University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain
- Friedrich Schiller University Jena (FSU Jena), Germany
The program has four semesters, each worth 30 ECTS credits. It focuses on both theoretical and practical skills. Students spend their first year at UNILIM and UNIBS. This helps them bond as a group and feel like they belong. In the second year, students can pick one of the four partner schools to specialize in. This lets them follow their academic interests and career goals.
